Cambodia to Demand Shorter Quarantine Periods for Fully-Vaccinated Travellers from Monday

PHNOM PENH: Health measures and travel conditions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 have been revised by the Inter-Ministerial Commission for Combating Covid-19. Starting on Monday 18 October, quarantine for Cambodian or international travellers has been cut from two weeks to only seven days. A travel insurance certificate and a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of arrival are still necessary.

The $2,000 deposit that is needed for quarantine expenses in a hotel is still in effect. However, if the traveller has already pre-booked their quarantine at a hotel, they are not required to deposit $2,000 when arriving at Phnom Penh International.

Travellers that have not been vaccinated will need to spend a full 14 days of quarantine. Officials that are returning from missions abroad, foreign diplomats, officials of international organisations or investors with an official invitation to Cambodia will need to quarantine for only 3 days.
